Slight correction regarding the Minsk. Its denomination is "Heavy Aviation Cruiser", placing it between the conventional (NATO) "aircraft carrier" and the usual Soviet "cruiser". A sort of jack-of-all-trades-master-of-none in these two categories. From a current perspective it would act as a sort of amphibious ship (à-la Mistral for instance) with the addition of the necessary weaponry to engage in anti-submarine, anti-ship and anti-aircraft warfare. The Russians, and Soviets at the time, never managed to fully come to term with naval aviation, the Mig29K being, perhaps, the exception. They never managed to develop a "real" carrier based plane. However, but the Soviets, and now Russians, were good at was building helicopters. And the Kiev-class (which the Minsk is, or was, part of) was able to carry a significant number of them. Sure, helicopters have shorter range than planes, but within the purview of the missions carried out by the class of ship, helicopters were much more efficient to carry out anti-submarine and anti-ship missions. In itself that kind of ship is pretty good and interesting, displacing less than an aircraft carrier and able to carry units useful to conduct short to medium range force projection.

I shouldn't be overthinking this but tbh the first tanta to show up should've been the Justice one- seeing as: Frey not only escaped prison, being seen as a 'consort of demons' and also has been on the run in her own world. Frey gets a chance to take her trial seriously , defending to change her ways completely (but she doesn't mean it obviously so she ends up fighting the Tanta anyway) Or the Wisdom tanta , for being an unworthy stranger that wants to know about the portals..Anyone but the literal Strength tanta that's the most physically dangerous for a beginner adventurer.
